NAC (Domestic Appliances) Ltd is a family-run, independent appliance repair company founded in 2014 by Adrian and Amanda Welke. This page is not a sales pitch. It sets out plainly who we are, how our engineers are trained, how a repair works and how we operate, so you can decide for yourself.
Founded in 2014 by Adrian and Amanda Welke, NAC is run day to day by a named leadership team you can actually put a face to, not an anonymous head office or a call-centre badge.

Our Wakefield training centre earned City & Guilds Assured status in 2022. It is where we develop our own engineers to a multi-brand standard, and where British Gas sends its nationwide engineers to be trained by us. Every engineer, whether employed by NAC or one of our vetted service partners, is held to the same standard before attending a job.
Tell us the appliance, make and fault online or with our UK team. We confirm a price guide and a slot with a two-hour arrival window.
An NAC engineer or vetted service partner attends, usually the same or next working day, with the common spares already on the van.
You get a fixed price before any work begins. Most everyday faults are fixed on the first visit, and every completed repair is guaranteed.
Guarantees, pricing, parts, insurance and what happens when a repair goes wrong, all set out in plain terms rather than buried in the small print.
Each completed repair is guaranteed in writing, whether carried out by an employed NAC engineer or a vetted service partner held to the same standard.
You get a fixed price agreed before any work starts. No diagnostic fees and no surprises on the invoice, what you are quoted is what you pay.
Our Wakefield centre holds City & Guilds Assured status and CPD accreditation, and British Gas sends its engineers here to be trained by us.
Every engineer is DBS-checked, insured and trained to a multi-brand standard before they set foot in a customer's home.
We fit manufacturer-approved or quality-matched parts sourced through official supply channels, and carry the most common spares on the van for a first-visit fix.
Sometimes a part is obsolete or the economics do not stack up. When that happens we tell you straight, so you can make an informed decision rather than an unnecessary replacement.
