The engineer arrived and knew straight away what the problem was. Made enquiries re cost of parts. After a short discussion I decided to put the cost of replacement parts towards a new washing machine. The engineer was very polite and explained things in a way that was easy to understand.
I found the whole process very reassuring, being able to speak over the phone to NAC repairs , allowing me to describe my problem , and to know immediately they would follow up to arrange the repair , and keep me informed.
