What happens next?

Confirmation of Your Time Slot

The evening before your appointment (at 6 PM), you’ll receive a text message with your allocated time slot. If you’re happy with the time, simply reply ‘Y’ to confirm.

Engineer Arrival Notification

On the day of your appointment, the engineer will either call or text 30 minutes before arriving, so you know when to expect them.

Diagnosis & Initial Assessment

On arrival, the engineer will:

  • Perform safety checks
  • Diagnose the issue with your appliance
  • Determine if the repair can be completed immediately or if parts are needed.

Repair Process

Repair Process

If the repair can be completed without parts: The engineer will fix your appliance, take payment, and be on their way. If parts are required:

  • Parts available in the van? The engineer will fit them immediately, test the appliance, take payment, and complete the job.
  • Parts NOT available? You’ll pay for the initial visit only. The office will source the required parts, and you’ll receive an email and text with a link to pay for them.

Ordering Parts & Free Return Visit

Once you complete payment for the parts via the link, we will automatically place the order. As soon as they arrive, we’ll arrange for the engineer to return and fit them.

🚨 Important: You will NOT be charged for the engineer’s time on any follow-up visit – these are free of charge! You only pay for the parts needed to complete the repair.

Once the parts are delivered (usually within 3-5 days), we will then book the next available slot and notify you the evening before, just as we did with your first visit.

On return the engineer will:

  • Install the new parts
  • Perform safety checks
  • Confirm the appliance is fully working before leaving

"Really good service from NAC, who we used for first time. Booked an engineer easy online + a got a friendly , non-pushy, call from customer service to arrange a visit to inspect a washer/dryer the next day. The engineer was Steve from R2A who visited on time, quickly detected and corrected the problem (user error by the tenant) and provided feedback to the landlord. Good price for all this work and even better when he returned, at no cost, to correct the same problem again from the tenant who was not listening the first time. Only left when machine was working as designed and the tenant user totally understood what to do. Absolutely recommend Steve at R2A and NAC. Will deffo use again! Well done everyone involved here! "

"Right from the first phone call to NAC we had great customer service. The receptionist was very polite and helpful and was able to offer a service engineer the next day. She explained about call out fee and what would happen. An extremely polite lad (Stefan) arrived the next day and thoroughly tested the washing machine. He diagnosed the problem and said we would receive an email with price for the part and to state whether we wanted to go ahead or not. He also said there wouldn't be another charge for him returning/fitting the part. Throughout all this we were kept up to date with emails, phone calls and text messages. Stefan duly returned fitted the part and the machine has been working successfully ever since. We would thoroughly recommend NAC and wouldn't hessitate to use them again. 5* service all round. Thank you all."
