About National Appliance Care

NAC (Domestic Appliances) Ltd is a provider of both in-warranty and out-of-warranty repairs for domestic appliances (“white goods”) . We work with qualified and experienced appliance engineers to provide premium levels of service at a reasonable cost.

With relationships with manufacturers, parts suppliers and experts , we can provide the finest level of advice and support to ensure that every repair done meets the highest expectations. We offer a full guarantee on our work with full confidence and do our utmost to leave every customer with a fully working appliance on the very first visit.

Our engineers are experts across a huge range of famous brands, working with cookers, dishwashers, washing machines and more. Whether it’s an extractor hood that’s stopped keeping the kitchen free of smells, or a tumble drying suffering a grinding noise as it spins, we can source the parts and an adept repairer to get it fixed as quickly as possible.

Being part of the NAC network means getting the lion’s share of the payment for work done – after all, it’s the engineer that does the work. Unlike other national companies who use third-party contractors and hide the fact with their branding, we believe in collaboration with our engineers. The relationship between customer and engineer is direct – just the way it should be.

We’re also here to provide the support our engineers need to get more business and to expand themselves.

Fair, open and honest

NAC is a family-run business with a focus on providing both our customers and our engineers everything they need to make sure the job gets done swiftly and efficiently. We welcome all feedback and are here to help both customers and engineers at any time.

Our fees

All applicable service charges are quoted at the time of the booking the visit, so you know what to expect. They’ll be confirmed by the engineer on the day itself, making sure you are never worried about hidden cost adjustments. In the rare instance of a discrepancy, simply give us a call and we’ll resolve it immediately.

Your service charge quoted includes the engineer callout and any labour for the time spent to make the repair (whether that’s 10 minutes or 10 hours!).

Of course, once the situation is assessed, the engineer may find that additional parts are required – if that’s the case, you’ll be advised accordingly, and nothing will be done without your express agreement.

We will do everything we can to source the parts at a competitive price and save you as much money as possible. If, however, you decide not to go ahead with the repair then that’s fine – though the service charge will still apply as it covers the engineer’s call out and damage assessment.

There are no hidden fees or undisclosed extras, and if you have any questions either during or after the engineer’s visit, we’re here to help.
