Booked via online portal, and kept up to date via text and email on ETA/availability. Friendly engineer identified the issue causing the washing machine fault code, ordered the part (new heater element) and came back a few days later to fit it. Problem solved with minimum fuss!
The engineer was very prompt and courteous. The repair was carried out and explained to me so that I knew what to do if the same thing happened in the future.
