The tall oven of my very old faithful Rangemaster was overheating so i called NAC to find out if I could get someone to come and have a look at it. The person who took my call was very helpful and clear about how they could help and how much that would cost. She arranged for an engineer to arrive a couple of days later to have a look at it. No sooner had I put the phone down, I received a call back from the engineer saying he was in the area and could he come by in 15 minutes as he was concerned it wasn’t safe. He came over and inspected the cooker and he thought it may be the fan not spinning properly as it had a build up of waste in the area, which he cleared. He observed the oven reaching its maximum temperature setting and made sure the thermastat was reading the temperature properly. I mentioned I was having an issue with one of the induction hobs randomly turning on and he said he thought it was the nob not connecting to the induction board properly. He informed me how much that would be to replace. I didn’t feel pressured into getting it fixed. Overall I was very pleased with the service I received because i was clear on what the problem was, i learnt how to check in future for myself if there is in an issue and the pricing I felt was really fair given he was able to come out so quickly.
