My John Lewis freezer was not maintaining the temperature which kept reducing from 18 down to 11 after about 3 hours. I kept pressing the OK button to maintain the correct temperature but it did not solve the problem. I contacted NAC and Jamie Webster arrived the next day and immediately realized that the clip on the rear downpipe had stuck causing the freezer to ice up. He released the clip and the advised me to empty the freezer contents and defrost the contents. The freezer is now working fine. I really appreciated Jamie’s expertise and would recommend him to resolve anybody’s freezer problems.
The engineer was on time and very helpful.
Although the fridge/freezer could not be repaired due to two units being irreparable, the engineer was clear about the reasons, apologised that he could not repair it and payment due was clarified.
Because of the comparative speed of arrival, I will certainly consider using NAC again where appropriate (hopefully with the potential for repair next time!).
