My online request for a phone back took place as promised within 24 hrs; the engineer contacted me to book a convenient time for the following day and after diagnosis of the problem, arranged a convenient time day a couple of days later to make the repair of my warming drawer after giving me a 2 hour time slot for the visit which he stuck to.

Engineer arrived in the time window & found the fault. NAC emailed the cost of the part & ordered it once we agreed & paid.
They booked a return visit to replace the part once they had it & again the engineer came when agreed & did the job.

Quick disgnosis, rough idea of cost given (about half the cost of a new machine), he found information on the age of my dishwasher from a metal plate inside the machine. Quick discussion about merits of repairing an eleven year old machine followed by agreement that a repair would not really be worthwhile.
