NAC Coronavirus Update – 4th January 2021
With government restrictions in place throughout England, Scotland and Wales, NAC are continuing to work safely to ensure that all of our customers can have fully working domestic appliances. I would like to clarify our position on Appliance Types and Repairs during the Coronavirus Era:
Household – No Symptoms and Not Self Isolating due to Symptoms:
We will repair all appliances as normal while observing Social Distancing.
Household – Has Symptoms and is Self Isolating due to Symptoms:
We will not attend under any circumstances. Your visit date will be postponed to the end of your Self Isolation date or by either 7 or 14 days, whichever applies.
Household – Vulnerable (Shielded) Persons:
As per Government Guidelines, we will only attend a property where someone is in receipt of the NHS Vulnerable Persons letter in emergencies and that decision will be made on a case by case basis.
We will consider attending for the following appliance types:
In instances where we agree to visit as your case is deemed an emergency, strict conditions will have to be agreed to before we visit. Those conditions are as follows:
Household – Isolating with no symptoms (Track and Trace / Other reasons):
We will repair all appliances as normal while observing Social Distancing.
